Hemming is a 60 lb. two year old "salt and pepper" lovable furry "person" with four legs -- some folks might describe him as a labradoodle! With Jennifer's excellent assistance, he takes me anywhere I want to go -- antique stores, hardware stores, long walks, visits to senior citizens, etc. -- anywhere food is not sold! Prior to introducing him to Jennifer, he was very friendly but determined to go where he wanted to go first instead of where I wanted to go. Jennifer trained me to train Hemming. The best thing I did was to leave Hemming with Jennifer for a long weekend while I was out of town. Instead of starting all over upon my return, Hemming acted as if sit, stay, heel, come to stay, etc., was normal behavior. I wholeheartedly endorse Jennifer Cullari's dog training skills! - Cynthia Sumen |

Buddy Dog came to our family via another family member who had rescued him from the streets. Our long time companion had died only a week before Buddy was brought to our house with the family coming for a Christmas visit. Our hearts were broken over our recent loss but we decided to open them to Buddy because he had a greater need. We quickly learned that Buddy had many “issues” that had resulted from his living on the streets. We decided to call in the professionals to get us through our adjustment to Buddy. That prompted us to call American Dog Training for help. Jennifer came into our lives. She had utilized many training techniques to help Buddy and us. She has taught us to relax and Buddy has certainly improved his sense of well being with calming techniques. We now have a happier dog that has begun to bond with us and us with him. We have
begun to enjoy Buddy as the newest member of our family. We have a large pack of humans in this family. Buddy loves the women, children and the other dogs but he continues to have male fear aggression because he was abused by males in his previous life. Jennifer has encouraged and directed us in helping Buddy become more secure. We have learned the tools to continue this process. When Buddy is acting like a happy dog, we are certain that this is the beginning of a long term companionship. Thank you Jennifer for your expertise. -Hilda |

On behalf of our entire family (The Liebert's), I cannot begin to express our thanks to Jennifer Cullari and American Dog Training. I was at the end of my rope with my year old pug, Molly. She defied, disrespected, and ignored everything I seemed to try with her. I also have another year old pug, Harvey who seemed to respond to my attempts of training. It made Molly seem all of the more difficult. I decided to call in a professional to help me with this problem! American Dog Training connected me to the perfect trainer! (Jennifer to the rescue.) The techniques that I had used on Harvey were not working with Molly and never would. Jennifer taught me how to assert and command Molly in a loving, gentle, and understanding manner. The first lesson that Molly and I had, I was given a routine that we would work toward. I truly never thought that we would ever achieve the completion of this series of commands that make up the routine! Over the next twelve lessons, along with a realization with the help of Jennifer and Dr. Stagmeirer of Animal Wellness Center, Molly made a complete turnaround. We changed her diet from processed kibble to a natural diet which changed her complete personality. She became less stubborn and generally just felt better. Jennifer then guided me through her training. Molly received her Certificated of Achievement in basic and advanced obedience. She is now not only a loved member of our family but a valued and treasured one. It was a pleasure to work with Jennifer on this most important project. Thank you for being too flexible and knowledgeable! -Amy and Molly Liebert |

My husband Kevin and I would like to thank Jennifer Cullari for her assistance in helping us with training Lexi Rine. We originally were hesitant to sign up for training as we thought we already knew everything there was to know since we went through training with our first dog, Casey. Boy, are we glad we did! Lexi was growing quickly and we did need additional support in order to get us through all the trials and tribulations! She was pottying all over, ran around the house where she wanted, charged at our other dogs food, and pretty much controlled us versus us controlling her. That changed after Jennifer came to the rescue! We were very pleased with Jennifer's time, patience, and understanding throughout the four weeks. She really brought a lot of new ideas to us and reinforced some of the things we already knew. Lexi is now more attentive, listens to our commands (because we are more consistent), walking nicely, and ringing the bell to go potty outside. In addition to Jennifer coming to our home for training, she was always available for support via e-mail if we had a concern or question leaving us feeling better about different situations! You all truly have a great individual and Jennifer should be commended for all she does to make a difference in the lives of families with pets! We would not hesitate to use her again! -Melissa, Kevin, Casey, and Lexi Rine

I wanted to thank you again for all of your help and expertise in training, our new puppy, Lola. As you know, we got Lola from an unusually early age, and I appreciate your advise in establishing a feeding schedule, potty training, and getting her socialized with our two other dogs. I could not have even gotten her full undivided attention, let alone leash and obedience trained her without your help. I also wanted to thank you for your promptness and flexibility in scheduling appointments. I would definitely use American Dog Training again, and would recommend both you and the company to all of our friends. I look forward to keeping in touch with you, and when I should ever need your wisdom, will never hesitate to call. All the best, -Bill Logan

We just want to thank you for working with Beauty last week and to let you know she has been such a good girl. It appears the routine and constant structure during her visit, along with just being around a balanced pack has helped her grow up somewhat. She is so more disciplined now. And yes, being only 6 months old she does act up time to time getting overly excited, but we can bring her back to a calm state better now, plus she is learning when its time to play and time to behave. We've been more structured with her and consistent, especially in keeping the collar/leash on her when she's out of the crate. Now if she acts up, we just have to hold the leash and she listens. We have already come across bicycles, roller bladers and other dogs on our walks and she reacts much better. Not great, but much calmer. I think its me who gets more nervous in those situations of course so i need to work on that. Beauty misses the pack and all the exercise she got. We've been exercising her more to burn off some energy and Toni works with her everyday now on the treadmill. She was exhausted from her visit last Sunday and slept the whole way back in the truck and right through the super bowl! See you on the 17th. -Frank and Toni
